Urban Living, Peaceful Healing at PMH Rehab
Nestled along Whittier Boulevard in the heart of Montebello, PMH Rehab is a place where the energy of the city meets the stillness of recovery. Our 84-person clinical team delivers community-driven programs rooted in peer support, family healing, and evidence-based care — because lasting sobriety grows best when the world outside your window still feels like home.
About PMH Rehab
Nineteen years ago, PMH Rehab opened its doors as a modest outpatient clinic on Whittier Boulevard. What began as a small team serving a handful of neighbors struggling with substance use has since grown into a full-continuum treatment center with 40 residential beds, medical detox, and intensive outpatient services. That original mission — meeting people exactly where they are — still guides every decision we make.
Today, more than 6,100 patients have walked through our doors and found a recovery path that works. Our approach centers on peer accountability and family-systems therapy, because we learned early on that healing happens faster when it happens together. PMH Rehab remains locally owned and deeply connected to the Montebello community we serve.

Why Choose PMH Rehab
Urban Sanctuary Setting
Our Montebello campus blends tranquil courtyards and green spaces with easy access to city life, so recovery never feels isolated from the real world.
19 Years of Community Trust
Nearly two decades of consistent, compassionate care have made PMH Rehab a cornerstone of addiction treatment in the San Gabriel Valley.
Peer-Driven Recovery Model
Group accountability sessions, alumni mentorship, and shared milestones create a culture where patients motivate one another toward lasting sobriety.
Family Systems Integration
We involve spouses, parents, and loved ones in structured family therapy because addiction affects entire households, and healing should too.
Stories of Recovery
"I spent eleven years cycling through programs that never stuck. By the time I arrived at PMH Rehab, I had stopped believing treatment could work for someone like me. The peer-accountability groups changed everything — hearing other men own their setbacks without shame gave me permission to do the same. I have been sober for two years now, and I finally trust myself again."
— Darren T.
"Watching my wife disappear into addiction was the hardest thing our family has ever faced. The family therapy sessions at PMH Rehab did not just help her — they helped me understand how to support her without losing myself. She completed the residential program eight months ago, and our home feels whole again. I am grateful every single day."
— Lorraine M.
"I finished my program at PMH Rehab three years ago, and now I volunteer as an alumni mentor every Saturday morning. There is something powerful about sitting across from someone in their first week and telling them honestly that the work is worth it. This place gave me a second life, and giving back is how I protect it."
